Fifteen works · 2026 · 24 July – 12 September 2026 · Munich
Latent Terrains
Fifteen works from one system, in which a single set of rules is run against changing initial conditions and the results narrowed, over successive passes, to fifteen states the artist is prepared to stand behind. The group holds to a horizon it never quite delivers. Issued as archival pigment prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, numbered, in editions of twelve with two artist’s proofs.
The rules were written once and left alone. What changed between one work and the next were the conditions the rules were run against, and the number of passes the result was put through before it was either kept or discarded. Fifteen states survived that process out of a considerably larger number that did not.
The horizon is the reason the group holds together. It appears in every work and resolves in none of them: a band of light where a coastline should be, a seam that divides the sheet without explaining what lies on either side of it. Read one after another in catalogue order, the works move from the flattest to the most worked surface in the group.

The series complete
Where a series is sold complete, the order in which the works are meant to be read travels with it, and we say so in writing. Single works are available throughout. Prices are given on enquiry, together with condition, edition and details of the execution.
