Series

A series gathers works that come out of one system or one question. Where a series is sold complete, the order in which the works are meant to be read travels with it, and the gallery will say so in writing.

Latent Terrains

Fifteen works from one system, in which a single set of rules is run against changing initial conditions and the results narrowed, over successive passes, to fifteen states the artist is prepared to stand behind. The group holds to a horizon it never quite delivers. Issued as archival pigment prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, numbered, in editions of twelve with two artist's proofs.

Sediments

Twelve works built from grain, density and colour temperature rather than from figure and ground, so that each surface reads as something that formed rather than something that was composed. Printed on baryta paper, which holds the darker passages without closing them up. Editions of eight with one artist's proof.

Seventeen works · 2024

Constructions

Seventeen works in which the structure is fixed before the colour is chosen — planes, seams and cut shapes, with at most one incident allowed per sheet. The earliest of the three groups and the most severe. Mounted on aluminium, in editions of fifteen.
